Long Beach Parks, Restaurants, And Entertainment

There are plenty of parks to visit close to Long Beach. Long Beach has its own park known as Stockwell Woods Nature Preserve, Long Beach’s beachfront and outside of the country club has a playground and often hosts events in the park.

Close by in Michigan City there is Washington Park & Beachfront, Friendship Botanical Gardens and Potawatomi Park. In New Buffalo there are also some parks you can visit. Lions Pavilion Park, Galien River County Park and New Buffalo Beach.

Long Beach does not have many restaurants, but nearby Michigan City and New Buffalo, MI make it easy to enjoy a night out. Some options in Michigan City are Fiddlehead, Bartlett’s Fish Camp, Galvestons and Shoreline Brewery. The Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City has more to offer than just gambling. They have a restaurant William B’s Steakhouse, Stardust Event Center which hosts events and concerts and along with those amenities they have a hotel and spa. Lastly, Long Beach is a great option if you want to keep a boat on Lake Michigan. Long Beach does not have a marina. However, there is a marina 10 minutes to the west in Michigan City and another 10 minutes to the east in New Buffalo, MI.
