Hawthorne is a neighborhood on the northside of Valparaiso, IN.  The subdivision only has single family homes.  Hawthorne started development in the early 2010s.  Today, there is a second phase under construction.  This new phase is often referred to as Hawthorne North.  The homes are all ranches and two-story homes with outstanding aesthetic appeal.  Hawthorne prices are a bit higher, but it is due to the homes’ design and size.

Hawthorne homes for sale average four bedrooms, three and one-half bathrooms, and have about 3,300 square feet.  Lot sizes average about three-tenths of an acre.  The only complaint about Hawthorne is the yard sizes.  Some people feel the yards are small and the homes are a little close together.
